step 1: "now women won't get the care they need"
step 2: Trump hates women headlines
step 3: someone funds PP back to full, and then some
step 4: "this only happens in America"
i for one am happy, i am pro choice, anti abortion, and especially anti federal funding of abortion.
I'm happy to have government funding of abortion. I don't like half measures, either abortion should be legal and a form of healthcare, or illegal.
On the other hand, I don't think
Planned Parenthood should be getting a single penny from our government, because they're a thinly veiled political advocacy group and are actively ditching their services in order to focus more on campaigning. I don't care if funds can be earmarked for nonpolitical causes, its still fungible assets being transferred to what's basically an arm of the DNC, and I don't think PP should get any more or less public funding than the NRA. If federal agencies want to contract Planned Parenthood for direct healthcare for employees that wouldn't be a problem, just like the feds pay the NRA a few bucks to use firing ranges for training.
NPR should be next. Try forcing yourself to listen to Joshua Johnson on 1A for 5 minutes.
