The jobs report was a positive surprise relative to the predictions by economists. But these predictions might have been too bleak all along.
In either case, if you look at the data in some more depth, you will see that it was mostly furloughed people and people on PPP who simply returned to their old job.
Two and a half million people being back at work is great news, but it shoiuldnt be blown out of proportion. These were "low hanging fruit", and we will have to wait for next month's numbers to see if this turns into a real trend.
Furthermore, the number of permanent job losses increased by 300k from April to May. If this turns into a trend as well, we'd have a huge problem.

Overall, those job numbers were good news, but there's still gigantic uncertainty about the true state (and outlook) of the economy.
