After reviewing the rules I've noticed that a user loses certain rights/privileges as their warn increases.



Today I would like to suggest that these infringements also effect you if you're locked and or scammer tagged, specifically the right to be a part of a guild, owner or member. In my opinion a locked user should have the same penalties as a user with a high warn %. You earn warn by proving your not able to follow the rules and thus lose certain rights. A locked user has painfully proven they are not able to follow the rules and as such should receive the same penalties if not something more severe.

In this case for example this user has not been seen since 2013 and yet he is the "Owner" of a guild. This guild is now wasted, not to mention the other members that used to be a part of it.
At the very least I think a locked user should have a harsher penalty, the more they lose the more incetive one has not to scam.

I think it's fine as it is.
Comparing a high warn level with locked status makes no sense since you can get locked for a short time, but you don't gain multiple %warn without really trying.

Fair enough, was just hoping to hear some thoughts on the subject.

I 100% agree with restricting a locked persons usage of the forum to pretty much that of a non-registered visitor.

Can't Post (Save for S/A and appropriate sub forums)
Can't PM (Save for mods)
Can't Use Signatures / Avatar's
Can't Be In a Guild
Lingering ~30+ Warn Status After the Unlock

Virtually all of those exist already..

I agree, I think the punishment should be a bit more harsh.



Yes and no, one is still able to be a part of guild, member or owner, and they are allowed to post around the forums still. I like that idea actually, no posts outside of the s/a section. Though I think they encourage locked users to post in general help and such.

Warn accumulation has nothing at all to do with scamming, there's no reason to conflate their associated punishments.

Limiting a scammer's usage of the site isn't going to do anything but encourage multis. The hope for scammer tagged users is that they will repay (otherwise, why not just ban them immediately?), which they are less likely to bother doing if they have no incentive to keep their account and it's easier to just make a new one.

I personally believe locked users should have no rights taken from them as long as they are still under investigation.

50% doesnt remove/kick you from the guild, it just doesnt show publicly anymore.

Locked users cannot access guilds or edit anything there, but publicly it shows.

So its already basically the same.

Also Guilds are useless
