hi,

i deleted my cookies on this pc and obv i had to log in on my account again.

since i created this account in 2008 i thought its normal that i need a couple of trys to remember it. after about 50 trys i got a 12 hour lockout

i kept trying after the 12 hours were over and even requested a password reset on the email that i thought is the right one. but i never got any email. i tried to check if the email is the right one for the account, but i couldnt do that because i have to fill out a bit sheet and wait up to 7 days for an answer.

i created a new account and checked if thats normal, but on the new account it did work instant and i got an email that confirmed that the email/account match.

now today instead of firefox i thought maybe use chrome and see if i have some passwords saved here, but i didnt. just for fun i tried to log in and suddenly it worked. i checked again on firefox. but THE SAME PASSWORD that let me into this account on chrome does NOT work on firefox.

why?

Do you have the password saved on Chrome? If so, try viewing it. Copy/paste into a diff browser, like Firefox. You can clear cache on both browsers and see if it makes any difference.

Did you try to write your password in Firefox in the ID ? To check if it is correctly written, maybe Firefox changes your keyboard settings ?

Sounds like you may have a "bug" I would shoot Kevin a pm and let him know.

Only other thing I can think of is a maybe your browser is outdated and causing issues as you've already cleared your cache/cookies/ect.
Did you also clear your saved passwords? Are you typing it in manually or using auto-fill? Perhaps your Firefox is using an old password?
