As title states, I'm trying to figure out how to remove the password so when I boot up my PC, I can just log in immediately without typing a password.

My google searches show me how to change passwords, or add passwords, but not remove them entirely.

Have you tried this?

• Type netplwiz in the Start menu search bar, then click the top result to run the command.
• Untick the box next to 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer' and hit 'Apply'
• Enter your username and password, then re-enter your password. ...
• Click 'OK' again to save the changes.

Just want to add this

Windows 10 is bugged out and it will randomly log you out sometimes when you turn on/off your computer.

It's a known bug that was never fixed they posted it on their site a few years back.

So be sure you still remember the password you used incase it happens to you

The box is already unticked, however it still requires a password.

Yes I will know the password when prompted, just don't want to type it in.

For security reasons, you cannot disable that.

You sure? On my laptop it seems to not require a password.
