Guards — De'Aaron Fox, Sacramento; Joe Harris, Brooklyn; Donovan Mitchell, Utah; Marcus Smart, Boston; Kemba Walker, Boston; Derrick White, San Antonio.
Forwards — Harrison Barnes, Sacramento; Jaylen Brown, Boston; Kyle Kuzma, L.A. Lakers; Khris Middleton, Milwaukee; Jayson Tatum, Boston; P.J. Tucker, Houston.
Centers — Brook Lopez, Milwaukee; Mason Plumlee, Denver; Myles Turner, Indiana.
This team would squeak into the playoffs ...
And maybe win a round .
Good lord this is the best your country has ?
Guys want to be rested and prepared for the NBA season. They don't care because it's not the Olympics lol
Players that dropped off the USA roster: Trailblazers backcourt Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum along with Houston Rockets' James Harden and Eric Gordon, Los Angeles Lakers' Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans' Zion Williamson, Washington Wizards' Bradley Beal, Philadelphia 76ers' Tobias Harris, San Antonio Spurs' DeMar DeRozan and Cleveland Cavaliers' Kevin Love were among the other players to withdraw from consideration.
Other superstars, including the Lakers' LeBron James, Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry and Los Angeles Clippers' Kawhi Leonard, were never listed on the preliminary roster.
USA will still win with not their Varsity team, not their JV team, but instead using their Freshmen team lmao. The flex is real.
edit: I'm just glad that the Sixers don't have anyone playing this summer. Simmons opted to not play with Australia, and Harris backed out of playing with team USA. No need to risk injury or wear down before the season.
