Well, as a lot of you know considering I’m not ashamed and will tell anyone, I am very overweight, the bmi chart would definitely use the term ‘morbidly obese’. I have decided to go back to no carb living, well limiting to around 20grams a day anyhow, I did this around 6 years back and stuck with it for over 9 months, I know it works because at that point I lost 130lbs or so. Well when I went back off it and started eating like shit again I gained it all back and then some. I am hoping that this time I can stick with it and keep it as a lifestyle change rather than a diet, I know a lot of good foods that I can make and eat and lose weight just basically nothing sweet and or starchy...
Anyhow I started this last week and my first weigh in is
- Aug 5th 2019 -
342.6lb
It has been a week now and I weighed in this morning at
- Aug 12th 2019 -
333.2lb
I plan on keeping this updated here with weekly weigh ins, will have 1 cheat day a month - because nobody is perfect and I’ve found if I try to be I always fail, so keeping in mind I do have a day once a month that I can eat what I want to will help. My wife had bariatric surgery - the sleeve and currently she has lost pretty much all the weight she wanted to but she cannot barely eat anything, a few bites and she is full, a couple more and it hurts. I am definitely trying to avoid going that route because I do like to eat good food and if I keep it healthy most of the time I still can, and a decent portion too. I feel bad every time I see her eat a meal she absolutely loves and can only basically taste test it rather than actually eating the meal.
Anyways, 1 week in and down 9.4lbs, not a bad start just have to keep it up, more updates coming soon.
