hi im just wondering if anyone has an idea of what the ratio of Fg for gold would be?

there have been multiple posts about this.. no one really knows what the prices are going to be, but expect on launch and even a month or two after for gold to be expensive asf

theres not much of it in vanilla and everyone is going to be saving for skills/mounts/gear etc.. my personal guess is 1g:200fg+ around there. if not way more :s atleast for the first month or two

I got a huge feeling gold will be quite expensive since lot of people will want gold for their epic mount/profession training and more. Will be a great time to be alive for traders.

If you played during actual classic, you'd remember gold being very very hard to come by unless you played the AH well. Some epic quests, specifically the Warlock level 60 mount required roughly 300-450g and the "Key to Naxxramas" required 500g, making them a complete bitches to complete.

Gold, ingredients, and wearable gear all alike will have a severely fluctuating price range for a while until the market becomes flooded. It will be at least a few months before prices come down even a little based on players reaching 60 with more than one character and beginning to farm.
