gpu most important for improvement in games, cpu change will almost always require a mobo and ram.
so either higher game fps or better streaming.

new cpu/mobo/ram is gona be min 450
gpu is around 400 for maxing everything 1080p 60fps
but who really plays on 60hz monitors in 2019

I play on xbox so this is a streaming rig forgot to mention.

Any monitor is basically better than my old tv haha

The price is fine mainly just want a cpu for now.
Would need a cpu cooler with it as well to keep up with it.

Can't pick a cooler without knowing what case you have.

I guess that might help. The dimensions would be useful too.

Here.... it's easier just to get a decent case as well...

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3jrytg

The cooler goes in the front of the case. The case comes with top and rear fan included.
Then just pick the 8700 or the 9700 CPU and you're set.
