So Brought a second hand pc from a bloke yesterday, got it home tried to reset the computer (erase data) but it wouldn't let me which I found odd, so I made due and deleted everything he had personal on there and start fresh manually.
played fortnite all night last night on epic gfx, played some more this afternoon and got a crash, rebooted computer and tried to play again and it would seem it now crashes every time the server loads.

any help would be greatly appreciated, would be good to figure out a way to find whats causing it

A Speccy screenshot would help...

Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download
...get the FREE version from either link listed.
...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility.
...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

That's a little hot for idle temps. Might want to redo the the thermal compound on the CPU.

On a side note.... here is how to post a screenshot on JSP....

The following will show you how to post a screen shot that has been saved to your Desktop:

1. When the Desktop or game is showing what image you want to post...Hit the Print Screen key.

2. Open MS Paint or your favorite Image Editor and click on EDIT > Paste. Some may say EDIT > Paste as new Image.

3. CROP the pic to JUST the Image you want to post. In MS Paint, its the little scissors Icon.

4. Next go to FILE > Save As > ...and choose .jpeg or .jpg or .png from the drop down box. Choose the save location as

Desktop.

5. Now go to https://imgur.com/ ...and click on New Post > Upload Images,
Browse to the image you just saved to your Desktop, then click on OK.
Or, you can just drag and drop the image from your desktop to the main page at ImgUr. That will also upload it.
When Image is uploaded, click the 3 dots over the top right of your image.
Choose: Get Share Links.

6. The 3rd link down, is the one you want. It is called: BBCode (Forums) ..just right click it and choose: COPY.

7. Now go back to your JSP topic, type w/e you want to say, then hit Ctrl + V to paste your image link in the topic.

8. If you use other image hosting sites, that just give the image link without the [ IMG] [ /IMG], then click the icon that looks like this:

9. After clicking on that little Icon you will then see this...

10. Then just hit CTRL + V to paste your Image in your Topic.

If you can... take a pic and post it.

/e I'm sure that's not a good thing either. The only thing going to the vid card should be one or two power cables from the power supply... like this...

I need a pic of where it's going from and to.

/e IF that's one of the power cables in groups of either 6 or 8, you might want to slice and peel back the insulation and check the condition of the wire underneath.
If the wire is OK, you can re-insulation with electrical tape or shrink tubing.
