Looking to get into some PC gaming, no experience with PC gaming or building...

Looking for a rig to play games like Destiny 2, Gears of War, Apex Legends, COD, Sea of Thieves etc at high settings 60+ FPS

Id also like some multitasking capabilities (2-3 monitors eventually) for watching streams, browsing, movies, basic streaming if possible

Been doing alot of research and came up with a build on PCPP to suit my budget (would like to keep it under $1000 canadian) but if I can upgrade at later date and expand the budget that is also possible.

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/6698WD

Open to any suggestions of downgrades/upgrades for what I may not need or need to improve on.

Thanks!

Also have a bit of fg to give for anyone willing to take a bit of time to help.

E: Should mention I already have a monitor, and peripherals dont fall into this budget.

Budget:
More specific use (what games, what programs):
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?:
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):

Your build isn't within your own budget though?

This would be a good starting point.

I dont need anything else other than the main components listed in my original build.

My build is close to the budget, which is all I'm really after. Not a strict under 1000.

Mainly looking for opinions on what, if anything, I should change and why.

I would also like to keep:

- non/semi modular psu.
- expandable ram for future upgrades

Cuz 2 extra cores and 4 extra thread and overclock > factory oc'd 2600

So you think its worth it to spend the extra 80 bucks to get the 7 2700 over the 5 2600 for what I need?

In terms of running a dual monitor setup, should I be looking for a graphics card with two hdmi ports? Or are there other ways to hook up a second monitor to let's say a gtx 1660?

I appreciate the suggestion, I was just looking to learn about why all these different parts are better rather than just buying what someone tells me to buy. I was in the understanding that this was a building discussion forum.

Again I appreciate the time you took to make a build for me, definitely helps.
