k this got me super confused... each hit will be 12 ll per swing with sword... 6 ll per cathans.. or 7 ll as i have a lvl 1 4 ll ring and a lvl 1 3 ll ring... so each swing is 12 + 7 ll or Life leech takes all available chpd skulls and mods on character to apply per hit... so 48 in just swords... 12 ll in rings or 7 ll in rings... then an ammy... thats up to 55 ll... at 5-15 physical damae thats at least 2.7- 7.8 ll per hit... at 5 life i prob should be offsetting every every hit with getting hit

So 12% ll per sword +4% ring +3% ring
Results in 19% ll per hit (weapon stats are local)

If10 dmg you leech 1 life (1.9 but d2 rounds down always)

k so my 4ll ring with mods needs one more 4 ll ring at level 1 for sure... 2 ll per hit with 50 life should be fine... its not a problem til i get to countess run and run out of pots... like 6 min in game at level 7... i dont want to gear change as that takes more time... this is rushing to 40 at its best as you might be able to tell... i hat bow attacks at level 1-15 as there is no variety as i will use ravenclaw from 15-25 religously without problem... but these swords got me confused as hell honestly... it was like 12 ll did nothing which now that everyone explained thanks a ton yall

This. I saw this post earlier, but didn't have time to respond. Unless you're playing a titan or some crazy Sacrifice build (not that anyone ever would...), you aren't going to do enough damage to leach enough life at low levels to replenish. Also, LL% really matters when kill speed slows down. If you're killing things in 1-2 hits, you don't need to leach.

what is the fastest weapon for a barb then at levl 1... 2 daggers?

2x Blood Crescent ... er, never mind, you said level 1. Who the hell cares about levels 1-7, you're going to get that in Blood Moor and Den.

At level 13, your fastest weapon is a Steel (Runeword) Cutlass.

i want to where one gear from 1-15... change to 15-25... one more change 25-40 ... that way its fast change and transfer situations...

Just grab two scepters and mash away.
