k... 12 ll per hit should be significant why is my level 1 barb not able to keep up with getting hit?
should i use a second 6 os chipped skull filled cs for 24 ll per hit at lvl 1...

that an ilevel 60 item although its usable at level one it doesnt translate to useable 6os at lvl 1?
or is it still so miniscule attack on enemies it just doesnt take anything from low hp monsters?

Most of the time it doesn't feel like life leech starts working until u get farther in normal, like act 5 or something..


I'm not very savy with details, but im pretty sure its based off of how much physical damage u do as well as how much life the monster has...

so its just dependent on how much life the monster has and then percent of that or percent of attack dmg points?

that makes sense... like 2 60s cs... two 6 ll cathans at lvl 11... and ll gloves strength helm and body armor and i can do chant games insanely fast... but my ll needs to be amazing to not worry bout mobs....

I'm not 100% sure about how it works honestly but I know its not really worth having until around act 5 normal, maybe someone more knowledgeable can give more details.

With or without enchant it wont change the percent of life replenished.. Because life leech only works with physical damage not elemental..

If ur running chant games, just use bow and arrow to stay ranged and u should be fine..

This is wrong,

Total Leech = Total Physical Damage * (Leech%) * (Penalty) * (Drain Effectiveness)

Penalty is based on difficulty, but no penalty applies in Normal. Some monsters like skeles you cannot leech from anyway (each monster has a different Drain Effectiveness - skeles are 0)

Keep in mind, if you want to use your 6 socket sword on a barbarian at level one you are going to need to get 13 strength to be able to equip the damn thing. A breast plate with 3x chipped amethyst will give +9, and a cap with 2x chipped amethyst will get you there.

My question is why do you need life leech on a level one character? You are going to be doing so little phystical damage with a white sword anyways that it's going to leech you such a negligible amount. And it's not like level 1-10 are difficult at all un-twinked.

when you hit a monster for 3-10 damage 12 % leech wont be that much my guy
