Hey guys, would love to upgrade my current Alienware M17x.
I will only be doing gaming, no streaming. No need VR compatibility.
Wanna play said games listed below at highest settings with smoothest gameplay possible.
Wifi would be nice in the off chance new house/apartment setup makes ethernet cord hard.
Currently run ethernet on 1GB internet
I don't care about programs like Microsoft WORD / EXCEL ... ect I use my MacBook Pro for things like that
If your build allows for custom boxes or lights - Red/Blue and I like Black sleek lines/designs.

Budget: 1250 - 1750 // 2250 TOPS WITH MONITOR

More specific use (what games, what programs): CS:GO - PUBG - WoW - Literally if I could just play games on it I wouldn't care I have other laptops to do iTunes / Twitch / JSP ... ect

Planned time until purchase: By Christmas - Sooner the better though.

Do you need an Operating System?: Yes - or do I?

Do you have any specific preferred components?: Ummm?

Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Wireless would be nice, I run ethernet 10/10 times though. If sound card is equivalent to like subwoofers on a car no, but I would like the music/videos to play through computer if headphones arent in (sorry if I got really nooby right there lol)

Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: You guys would have to make this call for me, I'm not sure when it is required/suggested.

Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: Monitor - YES - Only 1, 24"? Want to run everything at 60 FPS and very smooth/clean. Mouse and Keyboard I can find on my own - suggestions would be nice though.

Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): Pittsburgh, PA 15236

Please if I left something out or if you have questions to help further build me something, do not hesitate to ask. I am on JSP daily and will reply asap.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP!

This will affect on prices or availability of parts?

Completed last trade ahead of schedule. Looking to purchases ASAP.

2250 limit with monitor is okay. 2000 would be better. However if you think the additional 250 is worth it in the long run, please do not be afraid to spend it.

This should last you a solid 3-5 years imo, after 3 maybe a new gpu depending on market.
cpu's are not progressing all that much and have stagnated for last 5-8 years imo.
gpu's how ever are pumping out much more power. 16gb ram has become the new standard recently.

price too much?
Down grade to 16gb / ditch the 4tb drive if you don't need the storage. (save you like 200$)
If you don't mind spending a bit extra go with a nicer case you like.
