Hi

Just wondering your guys thoughts on this. I tried a microfiber and it didn't seem to dry the vehicle but only smear the water. Then I tried a shammy cloth and it worked better, but it doesn't really seem to want to suck up the liquid as fast as I'd like. Can you people give me some tips here please? Is there a really good product I can buy somewhere?

Thanks so much

when using the chamois it wont look like it has a ton of water but wring it out every few swipes anyway. and you have to REALLY wring it out more water will come out than you think. they are made to soak up the water those microfibers are fine for armor all or window cleaning but they arent made to dry the entire car it will be like trying to dry it with a bath towel. also if the water is drying before you can use the chamois simply get it wet again and then wipe it down that way you dont have water spots.

I ended up buying a Wal mart chamois. It's WAY better than the home hardware one I bought! The brand is Goon

Thanks man

I used to use the ultra plush microfiber (specifically labeled absorbant microfiber for drying). They are extra big so you can dry more area with one pass (3 ft long) to minimize the number of passes.

I found just buying a filtered air blower was faster, easier, and minimized scratching better. I was anal about getting every last drop of water that my cleaning routine would take too long. I started off with a small handheld one and that took too long now I use the metro vac revo.

Would never go back to towel drying.

How bad does it scratch your car when you accidently hit your car with the end? I watched the video and looks like a pretty tedious job to get all the water off no?

Id assume it depends how hard you hit it. But a nudge shouldnt really leave a mark.

It is less tedious to me to use the blower than towel drying. If you are satisfied with a quick pass than blower wouldnt be for you.
