There is a legit dueling subsection in d2 forum, if the main reason is to get as much exposure as possible, you should think thats how spammer justify their actions as well.

Events and such should be allowed to be posted as services.
Staff can enforce rules if shit gets out of hand.
No one and I mean NO ONE checks d2 discussion really.
If need be make a new category so a thread can be bumped in trade section but only bumped and not posted in maybe.

Yeah seems like a cool idea. I can say that for someone who has been here a decade, I’ve never even cared to look at the duelling subforums, but have been part of plenty of iron man tourneys or 2v2, 3v3 etc. The majority of the user base checks the trading grounds regularly, and probably exclusively. Why not allow the hosting of tournaments as a service to the community?
