New leagues are fun but any particular reason to play standard?

at first i'd say its people with (very) limited playtime, that dont want to go on the leveling/gearing process again

Same reason people spend their time spamming general chat I think

well standard is wat i feel an mmo is. working on a char that stays with u forever. playing league feels like a prolonged version of a moba, work on ur char then all progress is lost in next league.

You play std when you are about to get done with video games

Some people get attached to their characters and want to finish them. Others have limited playtime. Some people hate levelling up and starting over. Having wealth in standard allows you to mess around with your builds etc. There are many reasons.

Standard has all the op shit.

Not sure how else to put it.

i play league and std i use std to test build ideas and also just to push forward my fav builds to see how crazy i can make them
its also fun being rich on std and having whatever i want
new league means free re specs and more chances to test weird shit out there

if i dont like league ( beast, synth) ill just play std
