I can't believe these idiots killed one of the greatest games ever! For what? This new Avengers Day crap? Oh wow, beat some bad guys cut-scene. I also miss Marvel Heroes. It was another David Brevik gem in the mold of Diablo 2. I always thought another gaming company would bring it back to life but it would've cost too much money to secure the brand licensing from Disney and Marvel. I'm not even sure where the current assets from former Gazillion are right now.

Trion Worlds had acquired Gazillion's assets, including Marvel Heroes, in the summer of 2018 and then they sold out to Gamigo, a German-based gaming company. Marvel Heroes, as we knew it on the PC and console, is rotting away and waiting for some attention. The coding is probably all scrambled up at this point. Buried with Gamigo. All I could find that was recent was a top executive at Gamigo said early in 2019 that they will look into a Marvel Heroes relaunch (considering its value for a comeback) but it seemed very unlikely they could do anything with it.

I'd welcome Marvel Heroes back in some capacity, but I've moved on to Diablo games again and also Heroes of the Storm.

Sometimes I'll watch old Marvel Heroes videos on YouTube just to tease myself that it'll be back!
