They are both outplay based champs.

If you're mechanically better than your opponent, it doesn't matter which you play.

I always rather have a yas then a zed, even when I get a yas feeding yet as long as he knows the champ he becomes useful since yas is pretty good in late, yet the amount times I saw zed getting fed and then not be able to kill an Adc late game ... zed needs to close the game early but yasuo can play until late and do his hasaki things. I play on high gold/ low plat mmr so that’s just my experience and my own opinion.

Can you hit skill shots? Zed

Do you want to play drunk? yasuo

Do you want to 1v1 tanks late? yasuo

Do you want to play top mid and adc with one champ? yasuo

Do you have a million knockups on your team? yasuo

Lower elo i would say yasuo. Dont have to be completely perfect to get decent damage.
Higher elo its a tossup, but still yasuo.

Zed got hurt quite a bit with the addition of new champs/reworks, his kit just isn't as broken as it was before in earlier seasons.

I meant to post this in another topic, but some people play provocative in your face champions like that.

To credit I can say I do ban Yas not Zed atm BECAUSE some Yas delete their own wave like lightning, push mine under turret and I cant farm.

zed can only kill the support ones per 2min, to afk rest of time

If you are good yasuo obviously.

I rarely have problems with Yasuo, I often have problems with Zed

yasuo is better, zed is much easier to play.

Yasuo has been better overall for a few years now. They're both insanely difficulty champions to master and you probably never will.
