Because they know their market. Nintendo is for kids, paid for by parents. Go buy a pc if u want the best of the best. The switch is dope.

Been playing primarily PC since Gaycube came out.

The thing is, Nintento could be for both kids and avid gamers. They just prefer to stay small in the console market.
