Pretty much. It's more like a "super" 2700X, than an Intel killer. I assume it will be more happily accepted as a work station processor, than it will by gamers.
/e But maybe that's what AMD was aiming for. Not positive, but I think the business sector demand is still greater than the gaming demand... at least in the CPU world.
