How is it that it's ven possible to MISS the part I circled in RED. Obviously youtube is giving themselves the option of terminating posters, if they don't provide youtube with enough income.
That's just the start... I predict it won't be long now, before youtube becomes pay to play (required) for the viewers as well.


Little story...

I still remember when the cable companies, first came into existence. They promised "no commercials" for a small monthly fee. For a while, they stood by their promise.
But little by little, they changed their ToS, and soon it wasn't "just" the local channels that had commercials. Soon it was EVERY channel except the pay to play channels.

Lately, I've even notice channels like HBO, showing more and more commercials. Granted those commercials are, at present, commercials for HBO or for upcoming HBO shows, but if anyone can't see the trend...well they need to have their brain checked. We have things like Netflix getting progressively more expensive. We have companies like Blizzard claiming power over free speech.

Hell, I remember when video games were free to play with no DLC.

Youtube premium already exists and lets you drop ads from your experience.

Not a chance they ever go full paywall though, that would absolutely destroy their userbase, like 98% gone overnight.

YouTube has always had the option of terminating you if they think you are harming the sites viability, they would just do it under the dozens of other rules that more specifically fit the reason. In practice this doesnt change anything.
