You completely derailed in comparing Roy Moore (accused of 7 sexual abuses, some on minors) vs a case where there's simply zero accusation.
Ofc you can compare "things" as much as you want... Even if it's a bad idea
Btw the #1 rule of this code of conduct is hilarious. There's nothing here, just cultists and it's booooring.
this case doesnt have "zero accusation". she was verified to be in an extra marital threesome affair with 2 staffers and her nude pics leaked. illegal? no. but an accusation none the less. its an ethics issue. and something her voters might not like. it also counters plenty of moronic #metoo narratives.

What you call contradictions and emotion is what I call natural selection and logic. Women are the gatekeepers to the human race, as designed by nature. For about 10,000 years now men have subverted nature. Otherwise we would have vast societies of almost entirely females with a few top genetic specimen men to breed with them. Women are doing little more than following natural order and it is also quite logical. Breeding with lesser men dilutes the human race. Allowing the male population to explode results in catastrophic wars, slavery, social disorder and violence, and authoritarian rule.
outside of like a 1000 year dowry period women were the ones who controlled sexual selection. people mistake patrilineal societies with female servitude in reproduction. this isnt the case. women have always, and remain, the ones who decide their own bloodline. they are the one's who's consent matters, they are the ones who get asked if they want to marry, and in most cases they broker the child rearing process.
if we look back in a historical lens we can say women were forced to be baby making factories. and yet are women not still driven to reproduce between ages 25-35 even with independence and jobs? many people have a Disney-esque view of historical women, as if they were all sitting around bored and dying to leave the house. when in reality they were protected, from their modesty to having a place as home manager. while men trotted off to coal mines or the rail road to die at a 10% annual rate.
there's nothing wrong with female emotions, nor contradictions. contradictions of this type are fine, as long as you dont try to write a rule book with them in there. where #metoo went wrong was writing a "rulebook" that we all know doesnt apply to anything in reality. it should have been an empowerment campaign to teach women how to more expertly deny advances, and how to teach men when their advances aren't wanted. that's not what we got tho, we got preaching that doesnt match up with real life.
