Everything has a tint depending on the light source. My apartment looks orange because we use low temperature soft light bulbs. It's important to know that there is no such thing as "no tint", you should get a good idea of what's going on by looking at things under a multitude of light sources and filtering appropriately.
Agreed. And that's my point: to get a good idea of what's going on and to shed a light on reality from different perspectives, the MSM are not enough because they largely take the same perspective/ lightsource/ whatevermetaphoryoulike.
If your only news intake is MSM, you're living on an unhealthy diet, so to speak. The MSM are still probably the best starting point, but they are not enough. And that's not how it should be!
The mainstream should not have such a clear bias towards one side in the partisan divide, the mainstream should not selectively omit newsworthy stories based on whether or not they fit the desired narrative, the mainstream should not fall so far short of delivering a healthy, balanced news diet. I dont really understand how anyone can defend the current state of things.
