"not black enough" is one of those tricky topics.
when a white person says it it's top tier racism. but black people have been running with "light skinned" narratives for perhaps hundreds of years.
the dark truth is neither side is really culturally that OK with race mixing, but we're at a stage where you can't say that or acknowledge that, even if your intent is to remedy the situation.
same goes for white observations of black homophobia or stigma for mental health care. but if a black person says it they get lauded for it as brave.
the sad part of all this is we could have utilized the internet to collect actual good data to expose and address these types of issues. instead we chose to use it for porn, yelling at each other about opinions, and memes.
maybe some day someone will institute a tax relief program for poll taking on social issues. or poll taking will be required similar to jury duty.
