If you train at a high altitude say high up in the mountains, does your body get used to the lower oxygen then when you come back to sea level does it give you any advantage?
Also along similar lines what if you train with weighted clothing and/or higher gravity? Like if you could somehow survive on Saturn or Jupiter while training at extreme levels of gravity then come back to fight on earth
Lower oxygen levels make your lungs gasp harder so if you are working out with limited oxygen your lungs will adjust to suit, so yeah i guess when you come back to normal altitude your lungs will hold more air and will be more air in your blood/muscles.
Its not the altitude its the oxygen/breathing, wear a face mask or waist band to restrict your breathing at normal altitudeand it will have same effect
