You can make a ton of money, but not growing corn. Grow leafy greens, carrots, tomatoes, herbs, summer squash, beets, green onions, etc. And sell them at a farmers market. Location is key here.
If you're looking to do a small scale grow mimicking large scale crops such as corn, soy, wheat, etc.. just forget about it. You cannot compete with larger farms.
