I don't know what went wrong. Would it be possible to fix this problem without building a new computer?

Suddenly my duo monitors turned off for a few seconds then turned back on. I got a message "application driver failed". I updated my video driver and it didn't fix the issue.

Issue: My browsers started slowing down.. fps down for all games. I use to handle Starcraft II high graphics, now I cant even handle low graphics @ 15 fps

From test: https://www.userbenchmark.com/

UserBenchmarks: Game 29%, Desk 41%, Work 31%
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 - 63.1%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 760 - 25.6%
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB - 14.8%
HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) - 45.4%
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 C9 2x4GB - 46.4%
MBD: Asus H97M-E

I went and deleted around 110 gbs of games.

stopped few boot programs.

Performance using same bench mark went to. How long do thermal paste usually last? Idk how my temperature went up from ~60 before to ~80.. maybe summer heat

Here's the proper way to install vid drivers, or reinstall them...

DDU Instructions - Nvidia
1. Get this program, here: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/ ...get the latest version, and save it to your desktop.
2. Get your vid card driver here, use the Manual Search: http://www.geforce.com/drivers ...save this to your desktop.
3. Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) choose the "Highly Recommend Option", and just do what it tells you. If it wants to go into "Safe Mode", let it.
4. After it's done and comp has rebooted to normal mode, just double click the Nvidia driver to install. If it want's to reboot, let it.

As for the boot drive... I would get CrystalDiskInfo (free) and see what it tells you. & years is a pretty long time for a WD Blue with a 2 year warranty. (Assuming that is your boot drive)
