The debates went exactly the way he wanted it to go.

Yang's plan was genius. He was exactly the person he said he would be: respectful, authentic, bipartisan, devoid of bigotry and "the opposite of Donald Trump / an Asian man who likes math".

Stood out by not being a politician. Stood out by not wearing a tie.

Stood out by speaking less (so much less it seemed deliberate) and letting the people know he isn't playing dishonest political games, that he is rebelling against this shitshow most Americans are tired of.

He stuck to his strengths and played his own game.

He got his name out of there just by being present. When he got to speak, he didn't dilute his message, didn't alienate people by attacking anybody and stuck to his most important policy. He let other candidates make a fool out of themselves.

Andrew Yang has shown that he is different.

Let's find out by getting him elected. The automation problem as forecasted by Yang is a given, crook or not. It improves to a "maybe" if we put our trust in him and give him a chance.
