if bishop had similar numbers to those 3, including vasey's then yeah i'd fully agree with the landslide vote. However that isn't the case.
What you're saying is any goalie that put up remarkable numbers under a defensive system should never win the vezina cuz they're product of the system, and goalies in a offensive minded team that wins liek 80% of their season should always win it because they are making more high danger scoring chance saves??? If vasey put up bishop's number while raking in the wins, then hell yeah i'd also agree he did it all and deserves to win it by a landslide.
im saying that there are multiple reasons why vasi deserves it, more than just save % and gaa
1. he played quite a bit more
2. he won quite a bit more
3. looking at advanced metrics, he plays on a team that because its so offensively gifted, plays an offensive game and allows tons of fast breaks against and high danger scoring chances
4. backup didnt play almost as much as him with almost the same numbers, further proving his numbers are as much the product of a system as they are a goalie
how can you say bishops numbers are so much better than lehners? or elliots from a few years ago in a defensive system?
