If you dont consider Eriksen a top class player you simply have not seen him play
He is a big part in tottenhams success the last couple of years and without him you wouldnt know about Kane

As for his level, he's pretty good and could step up his game in Madrid. For instance Modric wasn't considered Madrid material when he joined us (started as a bench player) and then went on to become the world's best in his position. Eriksen seems motivated and very willing to join us, and Zizou is good at getting the best out of individual players... so even though I'm not saying that Eriksen will become Ballon d'Or material, there's a good chance that under his management and while being surrounded by players of much better quality than the ones from Spurs, he will improve.

The thing is that the team doesn't need another CAM, unless the plan is to make a complete overhaul and sell both Isco and Asensio.

I think he'll leave. I really rate him, I'd take him at Liverpool but they'd never sell to us.

I think people underestimate how good Eriksen is, he's easily Spurs' most important player.

It's just he's been so run into the ground as he's rarely injured and Spurs have little depth so he plays wherever he's fit and regularly covers more ground than any other player on the pitch, which takes toll and shows in later stages of the season.

Without him our national team would not be #9 best in the world but around #25 in the world
