It happens frequently, a mod suspends and then another reviews, sees the suspension, and decides a longer one is needed. Or maybe they just like fucking with us. I've been suspended for months for a single post, and it started as 2 days, then was a week, then a month, and then an additional two months. The additional time was never added until the day/hour/minute my last suspension was about to end. I'd have a reminder set (because I wanted to see what post got me suspended), I'd try to log on a few minutes early and count it down and boom, right before getting access back, another suspension.
I thought that's just how it worked when they ban. I've noticed the countdown reset.
It's like when you have... say 40% warn, each 10% brings up the ban time.
So it would be like 1 day for the 10%, 2 days for 20% then when it expires you would have another 2 weeks for the 30% and then 1 month for the 40%.
I didnt think this was someone banning you multiple times, always thought that it was sequential.
