but from like 70-94 in cbaals the hdin should be the one carrying, unless they suck. shit in classic dins are faster seal to seal than sorcs. most people dont realize that because they play with shitty pallys that get stuck on mobs or play like sallys.

and half the reason sorcs do so well is Convict aura from one of the pallys.

really all classes other than barb carry at one point tbh. fissure + trap rapes early game. as does static. barb is just utility.

so you're dropping hammer fields that only act 2 is immune to that hit the mobs on baal waves.

i've solod the entire game on /pl8 on a hdin with only 2x spirits and a smoke. shit melts.

It's pretty effortless to get any rando geared hdin up to 8k+ hammers.

That said, sorcs are definitely the bigger carry. Without teleport your run duration doubles. But lots of classes can substitute for DPS in parties.

And given the fact that he is in a party, Stealth > Smoke easily. With party BO etc., there is practically zero chance of dying - besides it's so easy to max out res on a hammerdin you don't need to have it on your armor. Just top up with a few rando charms - giving up the 125 FCR is a massive nerf.
