I've been having an issue this ladder where the game crashes and I can't get into a game for the next 5-10 min. I try to create the game but it hangs on the door screen and then says "Failed to join game".

This just happened to me after meph dropped a perfect mara's for me. I put the maras in my cube and then afked in town to go make a thread. I came back, the game had crashed, I couldn't get into a new game with the same problem.

I finally got in 10-15 min later and the mara's was gone. Big rip there but oh well. My bigger concern is that this will continue to happen. Others have had this bug this ladder as well. Anyone know what causes it? I have No AV or firewall on. Run as admin. No botting/ etc.

This happened to me after killing d clone last ladder.
After picking up the unid anni, the game crashed. The anni wasn't saved...

someone has crashed the game server and you were playing on this server at that time.
when a server crashes, your char rolls back to the most recent game-safe (a game does not save every sec...).
in your case, the most recent game-safe was when your mara was not on your char,
but somewhere else instead (probably not dropped by meph or on the ground).

so in short, you found a maras but by server your char was not saved while having the mara.


i dont have any proof but i believe someone on this forum is crashing the servers to duplicate items and sell them here (runes especially).
since the first day of reset, ive seen plenty of these server crashes. before reset, it was only like once a week, at most.

Blizzard was watching you and knew you were going to rmt it and terminated you immediately

Anytime you find something valuable in a game save and exit asap

Never trust a server or a fart

Its not on your end. The server probably randomly crashed or someone forced it to crash by doing bad actions.

id say fuck playing the game at this point

saw 7 more server crashes after i posted here (that was only 11 hours ago now)
seriously, people must be using this to dupe else why is this happening
exactly at the beginning of ladder, in such great extend?
