Ive had a shit monitor for a while. Im using a 1070. I get bad tearing with the monitor I have now... So Im totally fucking over that.
Point me in the right direction please.

Tearing isn't usually a monitor problem, generally gpu. It can sometimes be helped with a monitor that has adaptive sync, but that's fixing the symptom not the problem.
What monitor do you have currently?

i just got this from amazon the other day for like 150
i dont have much experience here so by no means is this an expert option/review hahaha
but so far i like it and for the price i was happy
im actually in the process of my first pc build
so no complaints from me on this monitor

I mean that's a 60hz 1080p panel, you should have no problem powering that. What games do you play? What setting are they at? Have you tried vsync or freesync? Have you made sure your drivers are up to date, both for monitor and gpu?

I updated drivers, switched to single monitor instead of two, and lowered overwatch setttings to LOW. And now im destroying people! Its so much better!

If you were using two monitor with different refresh rates, windows can get wack and cause issues
