BF sin, Claws only. No a2 merc.

Was thinking highest damage weapon. Claw only could be interesting. 20 to claw mastery instead of fade

hammerdin with shako would be sick

But I don't want to bot.



Was thinking about this again, and I can't make the skill points work out.

20 BF <-- Must if claw since claws are low damage and few good mods (Strength is the best CB, etc.)
20 Claw Mastery <-- Must
20 CoS <-- Build concept (blind and spray)
20 Shadow Master
10 Weapon Block
8 Fade
+5 or so prereqs

That adds up to 103. Otherwise known as impossible. So which one to drop? For wicked hard core, I'd drop Shadow Master, which may work with the build.

That ends up looking like this.

Pika has actually tried the build he suggested, maybe he could provide a link to his walkthru or give some good pointers..
I pretty sure there was a trap involved in most of the other guides for a blade sin (death sentry trap)

I did pure BF, no traps other than the fury skill, and it was aids. 100% aids.

Skills:

7 (1 into hammer, BoS, Sentinel, Fire Blast, WoF, dual block, warrior)
20 CM
20 BF
20 Venom
20 Master
1 MB
1 CoS
Few into Fade, don't remember if this was exactly the set up I used, I've changed it since after I killed Baal.

Another set up:
10 Prereqs (hammer, BoS, dual, warrior, FB, web, shock, LS, WoF, Sentinel)
20 CM
20 BF
20 DS (for hybrid and CE)
20 CoS (this may not be useful, but I didn't realize it drops the def quite a bit)
5 Fade
1 Master
1 MB

This could be done too.

Unless you do dual claw, then rearrange some stuff..

I have all three characters started. Pally is the one I'm mainly playing because it cruises through normal. 300+ damage in A3.

CoS does some other great things too. Stops non-unique, champion archers from attacking. Stops non-unique, champion shamans from rezzing. Causes melee only monsters to some times stop or return to their start point.
