anything that im seeing that mentions tire pressure says max 50psi so i would assume whatever you want to run up to that pressure. and i have a buddy runs 50psi in his tires not sure what they are though some of those mall crawler diesel tires that are somewhat low pro

I would recommend looking at the sticker on your cars door or door frame and going by that number, the max psi is not something you should inflate to in most situations. I would assume around 35psi if these are going on your a4?

Look on the driver door sticker, it should be around 42

This. Max tire pressure is the max those tires can safely handle. Not what your vehicle requires. Check the inside of your driver door.

Terrible advice. The manufacturer literally puts it on the door of the vehicles for this exact reason. So people don't listen to dumb advice and just put it on any random number. The cars are tested on very specific tire pressure. Changing that can cause excessive wear on your tires. You won't get the correct performance out of the vehicle. The only time you want to adjust tire pressure would be for racing or you changed to a completely different rim and tire size. Other than that, leave it alone.
