Not quite sure whats causing this.. might be a monitor issue?

I've got a dual monitor setup. On my main display I have screen tearing issues when it comes to videos and games.

My secondary has no screen tearing.

Both are just generic monitors, nothing crazy.

Main: Dell P2011H
Secondary: Acer S200HQL

Main is connected via a DVI cable to my GFX Card
Secondary is connected via a VGA cable to my onboard.

PC Info

Windows 10 64Bit
i5-4570 @3.2GHZ
8GB Ram
GTX 1050 Ti

Is it cause I'm trying to use my onboard and PCI graphics? If that was the case I feel like the PCI (better) would hog more of the work and display better?

LMK what you guys think!

Nah, its nothing to do with VSync. Have it disabled in NVIDIA Control Panel. Besides, it does it through VLC and video streams.

tbh using onboard gpu for a second display shouldn't cause tearing.

its a stupid idea imo.. GTX 1050 Ti is more then capable of running multiple monitors and so much better then integrated

integrated should actually be disabled by default when running a gpu

Yeah its just that the one running off of the GTX is the one with the tearing issue. I would have initially gone with putting both on the GTX I just don't have any HDMI enabled monitors :D
