I wouldn’t get a laptop. Too much damn heat. But I understand if you have very good income then it’s irrelevant if you are going upgrade every two years or so.
I still have my hackintosh with parts from 2010. An i7 860, ddr3, etc. Upgrading to a new mobo would be a huge upgrade. But PCIE-4.0 will be available in 1 to 2 years. I’ll just wait for that.
Obviously, if you custom build your own computer, it will be better. But it will always be more expensive with the latest tech. Gaming computer don’t really need that much power. Do the ganes utilize more than one core of the cpu? So, for gaming, how would a quad core do better than a dual core? I don’t really see computers going to $9000, unless you are getting the best of best hardware. Which you don’t really need for games. Seriously, I don’t know why anyone would consider crazy hardware unless it was for something beyond gaming. Such as video editing. Or anything that require multiple cores of the cpu. Are you running a fucking simulation program? Like NASA or CERN projects. Or maybe mapping DNA. Shit, i wish could do that within the hour.
But I don’t know. So enlighten me. You was right about that sword thing.
