When you look in a thread or in your pm box you see people as black (online in the last few minutes) or grey (offline).

What if there was a scaling amount of grey added depending on how long ago you're last click on jsp was. This would help a lot in the trading forums without having to check people's profile's manually. Just by seeing a dark black name you'd know that the guy was last seen only a few seconds ago. If the name is more faded then you know that his last click was a few minutes ago.

IDEA:
0 seconds - 1 minute - pure black

1 minute - 5 minutes - a little greyer

5 - 10 minutes - a little greyer

10 - 20 minutes - almost completely grey

20 minutes + totally grey like it is now

The notifications added to jsp have been amazing. They keep you in touch with what you're involved in on jsp. They are as useful, if not more, than push notifications. Before you had to manually look through you're saved topics and you might not see that a thread of yours was responded to until many hours/days later. This suggestion is similar but on a smaller scale. If you are looking to do a trade with someone in d2 and there are 3 people selling jah runes, you'll probably choose the guy who has a darker name because he was last seen only a few seconds ago and is more likely to respond quickly. People having an idea of everyone's last clicks based on their greyness would allow us to keep in touch with each other better.

Think it’s a good feature , but people will probably claim « too much site data » as usual lul

I've seen Fifty Shades of Grey and have no interest in seeing any more.

It would probably be better to put the "Last Seen: 18 Minutes ago" under a user's Join Date in threads or something.

No, the PM symbol grays out or lights up accordingly whilst online or offline.

That's 20 minutes, still pretty long for a yes/no system.

I personally vote yes, but this:

Either option would be fine imo.

Ok so it was an idea. Looks like more people dislike it than like it.

It was a good try, dont get discouraged about bringing up ideas that people will like/dislike. If you feel its a good idea, it matters, and you should share it with us. The most we can say is no. Never know the next idea you have might be the ticket.
