Question:
A society is like a family. Democracy does not work well in a family. Children often do not know what is best for themselves nor what is likely to harm or benefit them. Parents do. So the best governing structure for a society is not a democratic one, but one based on a parental model.
Criteria for Assessing Analogy and Application:
1. Identify what is being compared = State the analogs.
2. The “truth” of the comparison.
3. The relevance of the characteristics.
4. The number of shared characteristics.
5. The variety of shared characteristics.
6. Disanalogy.
Any help would be appreciated
