Thinking about starting on this game again, just casually, but im highly in doubt on which class i should start with

season 17 is LoN based and allow a lot of viable build but you need time to find all ancient pieces.
if you want to casual play go wiz as reset says, archon/chantodo combo is crazy right now

Really considering DH now, is he worth it?

support monk is anyway highly desirable for 2,3,4 player team, always good to have one.
you should have a decent inv of dex based items, so dh would be a natural follow up, starting with impale and then switch to LoN rapid fire seems very nice
