I started on classic (as in before lod was released) with a level 12 charger because back then uniques didn't have any level reqs. Got bored didn't go back until a clan I joined in .09 did a level 19 tournament every month. Found a few llders in pubs and they trashed my 19 so I remade with Max jewels and such. 76legit was where most of the llders were from so I joined them and was on their forums for a few months until I believe meitou and bel let me know of a new set of forums, lld101. I quit in early 06 because my computer died and I was too broke to fix it and after a few very expensive chars expired, I gave everything I had left the Mei. After about 3 years of trying to get a hold of mei, I finally got some of my stuff and got to watch meis accounts. I can back November of 17, more than 10 years after I quit.

by far longest break ive heard of. as shocking as finding out mei didn't just poof with all his gear. it literally changed my perspective of whats on the realms still. for years people said "you don't know whats on the realms" when people posted like Last Zbug Shako in the trophy room. but u really never do know.

I started in .09 patch with a lvl 9 Civerbs barb. my friend made a far more effective jewel of envy bow zon. he got more ears but the flawed ruby in my civerbs was hilarious. flawed ruby gear and shit charms. he had a bunch of 6 poi scs. why I thought +1max/lvl was good, at lvl 9..... idk. even back then wanted weird ass chars


then got into actual lld in VLLD in 2009.

also, i helped a buddy make a lvl 9 kicker one time cuz he wanted to try vlld, so it was packed full of flawed rubies too

funny thing is of ALL the early sets I chose the worst.

deaths, sigons, angelics, isenharts (surprisingly good for a vlld), hsaurus, and cleglaws ALL better sets.....
