"Hide" behind a tree so the lion has to come at an angle and then downwards chop severing any leg or possibly head/face. Tbh swinging in circles is dumb unless the hilt of the blade has enough room to hold it properly when impact happens otherwise it's going to be a long but shallow cut. 10/10 dont want to live I will fight a lion.

This is a joke right ? Lions are fucking killing machines , they take down buffalo that weigh thousands of pounds . The minute that lion hits you running 20km/h you are fucked . The sheer impact may knock you out cold . Swords are heavy and even if you somehow time your strike perfectly and slice the lion wide open , while being scared shitless and bracing your body for inevetible impact , it will still attempt to kill you injured or not . This isnt a video game where youre going to cut the lion in half with one strike .That lion will grab your throat within a matter of seconds and bite down with tremendous force crushing your windpipe and causing severe trauma to the muscle and soft tissue in your neck , it may also fracture or break your spine depending on where the bite is placed . It will sit there with your throat in its jaws for 5 minutes squeezing down until you slowly wither into nothingness . You win this once or twice out of one hundred due to sheer luck .
