big cat will tank almost any shot and kill you easily. Using that blade as a poke may kill the cat. But it must be in the eye or heart. Slashing probably wouldn’t do any good.

Slashing full power with a 5 foot long razor sharp piece of metal that weighs 6+ lbs designed to hack off limbs lol give me a break anything that hits is either coming off or getting horribly mangled. Imagine the softer tissue and weaker rib bones on the side of the cat. Would cut through that like butter. They're also lean so they have little fat for protection from the blow

Plus a lion is dumb as hell u could be spinning urself around like a shot put generating so much force if you hit its jaw I bet it would come clean off. It is just going to charge and lunge on you so only question is timing it right if u do some big piece of it is coming off 100%
