About ten years ago when I got into lifting I tried blending chicken, strawberries, and milk. Definitely in the top five worst ideas I’ve ever had.

Jarrow whey protein - vanilla flavor. Much more affordable than something like Quest or other well known name brands. Tastes great to me and it isnt overly sweet. Mixes well.

I tried the chocolate and didnt like it at all. But the vanilla is definitely good.

Quest chocolate milkshake and cookies and cream are good but it's more expensive and is a combo of whey/casein iirc (which may suit your needs better or worse).

I tried Optimum Nutrition (ON) whey and casein. They weren't bad but didnt really blow me away with taste, price, or mixability. Middle of the pack imo.

I've been wanting to try MyProtein and others, maybe grass fed protein powders but havent gotten around to it.

Not sure if you're only looking for really clean ingredient protein shakes but just thought I'd share my experience with the ones I've tried.

Would recommend Myprotein. I just got 22 pounds of isolate for 138 dollars. Pretty sure the regular whey was about 100 for 22 pounds.

It's also one of the top rated proteins in terms of quality.
