the sorcerer by William friedkin guy who directed the exorcist.

such a great film no one has heard of; it's about 3 lost souls who take a job to transport old dynamite through the amazon jungle.
great adrenalin rush with plot twists.


had me on the edge of my seat and captivated the entire time through.

I hope you enjoy it.

Another good one off the top of my head is Barfly. This one is a little lighter and easier to watch, has great performances by Mickey Rourke and Faye Dunaway and has this awesome inner city, grimy aesthetic if you're into that kind of thing.
