Hi all, I'm using my phone net connection to play games in my laptop since I can't set a phisical connection where I currently live

I have no problems playing mmo games, but I have in shooters and rocket league, but only while using discord.

Can i use a lower req voice program or improve my connection with some help?

Discord is already pretty low network usage, voice really isn't hard to encode and send.
Chances are you still get the same lag in an MMO, but it's less noticeable because the games just aren't as fast paced. 50 extra ping in an esports game is a lot more noticeable than in WoW.

Do they not just have a wifi you can sign in to? If not, not really much you can do outside of getting like a Verizon jetpak.

You could look into sat/mobile link type of isp.
here at least you can get a usb dongle that allows you to access there network.

Is an option, but everyone I know personally that has sat internet's speed is kb/s, not mb/s. loading even facebook takes several seconds just for the front page.

It varies based on area/plan tbh, I also stated mobile as well cause his phone/plan could be limited vs one of these rocket sticks we have here.
