I do what's called bowel training. Basically I've gotten into a daily schedule where I eat and drink at the same time every day, which has trained my body to shit at the same time every day. The extra fiber is actually quite necessary, since my body digests slowly, which would make my stool hard and dry if I didn't eat so much fiber. Like if I ate a lot of low-fiber food like steak, then I'd have trouble shitting.
