go to your state website and check out your unemployment options and what they offer for what situation

you may qualify for underemployment but going to the site and checking all the information out on it is the only way to find out

Yeah you can usually claim the hours missed if you're a full time employee.

However, if they're scheduling you and do not have a set schedule, you're more than likely not the on the books as a full time

Note: they may give you full times hours but not consider you full time because of the flex in work scheduling.

Really depends what industry.

You could always get cancer really quick. Read your companies employee manual as it will define how many hours a full-time employee would need to work. If you have been working 40+ hours per week for the last year then they would be liable for any medical costs you incurred if you decided to sue them (if they offered benefits to full-time employees). That's why most companies are very careful about not letting part-time employees work consistently at or above the hours that qualify as full-time. So if you want to get them back just go get some cancer and hire an attorney.

Based on what you said sounds like its on purpose. Maybe its time to start a side lyft hustle till you can find a replacement job.

If my job did this to me I wouldnt want to work for them ever again.
